BEHIND THE SCENES: MURU JEWELLERY SHOOT

Yesterday was an exciting day at Muru as it was the day of our brand new shoot! We headed to a North London studio early and got down to the all-important hair and make-up.

Our make-up artist Bethan Owens (website, twitter), started off with a gorgeous, natural look to begin with, which she vamped up as the shoot progressed! Starting off with natural lips and soft eyes, Bethan ended the shoot with perfect cat eyes and nude lipstick. She lightly tonged the hair for some natural waves and shook them out for a relaxed, tousled feel.

Our stylist, Lisa Cotte (twitter, instagram), stuck to the brief of monochromes & neutral colours in simple, tailored styles to allow the jewellery to stand out. She mixed textures like velvet, leather and lace for an edgy feel.

We focused on layering our gorgeous necklaces, so Lisa chose some daring deep V-necks to really show them off.

With fashion & make-up taken care of, it was time for our lovely model Emma Barley (instagram) to do her thing! She really worked the jewellery and looked absolutely gorgeous in everything we put her in!

Our photographer Marie Absolom (website, instagram) took a variety of full-length and close-up photos which really make the most of the jewellery. We can’t wait to share them with you so enjoy a few sneak peeks below…
